Equipping our Army
Description
A promotional film on testing, procurement, maintenance and repair of equipment for the Australian Army. Shows the proofing trials of the General Purpose 1 ton truck at the Army Design Establishment Monegeetta. The testing of artillery ammunition at the Ammunition Laboratory Fort Wavefield. Trials of cargo carrying parachutes. The repair and maintenance of equipment at the RAEME Training Centre, Bandiana, Vic. Shows the repair of small arms, 40mm Bofors anti aircraft guns and 105mm howitzers. The overhaul of Centurion tanks, M113 Armoured Personnel Carriers and Ferret Scout Cars.
