Major General Allen's first parade Darwin
Description
On 1 April 1943 Major General Arthur Samuel (Tubby) Allen inspects a parade of the 19th Australian Infantry Brigade. This was his first parade after taking over as General Officer Comanding (GOC) Northern Territory Force. Shows the arrival by staff car, mounting saluting stand, general salute, inspection and march past.
