Governor General visits Point Cook air station
Description
Newsreel item on the Governor-General, His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester's visit to RAAF Central Flying School, Point Cook, Vic. The Duke, accompanied by the Duchess, was welcomed on arrival by Air Vice Marshal G Jones. The Duke inspected an RAAF guard of honour then at a parade presented a gift gold cup from the RAF to the RAAF the Duke then toured the station.
