Sperry upper turrets: operation and servicing (Airplane turrets)
Description
Official training film TF I-817 produced by the US Signal Corps in collaboration with the Army Airforces. Uses a turret mounted on a stand and animated diagrams to show the operation and servicing of the Sperry Upper Turret as used on the B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bomber. Also shows the turret mounted on the B-17 and how the gunner boards his turret and performs his equipment checks.
