RAAF men walk Kokoda Trail
Description
A group of RAAF men on a combat survival exercise across the famous Kokoda Trail in New Guinea carry fifty pounds of food and equipment on their backs they walk the one hundred miles in 12 days, including 50 miles of the mountainous trail. Three Navy and 2 Army men are among the group. The exercise ends at Owers' Corner, just north of Port Moresby on 29 November 1972.
