The effects of atomic weapons on troops in the field (C1089)
Description
A British military training film produced by National Interest Picture Productions Ltd for the Army Kinema, Corporation. Uses animated diagrams and soldier actors to show the effects to be expected from a 20 kiloton atomic weapon burst at 200 ft above ground level on troops in the field. It relates these effects to distance from ground zero and to some examples of defences and posItions in the field. Demonstrates how casualties can be reduced if correct safety precautions are taken.
