Description
A Reichsanstalt fur Film und Bild in Wissenschaft und Unterricht (RWU) production on the various aspects of the air war on the Western Front such as aerial reconnaissance, bombing, aerial dogfights and balloon busting. Scene of aircraft shot down in flames. Also sequence of a parachute jump. A captured British pilot with the German pilot who shot him down. Features famous German pilots including Manfred von Richthofen, Max Immelmann, Oswald Boelcke, Herman Goering and others of Jagdgeschawader 1 better known as 'The Flying Circus'.
