Description
Troops resting on lawns in Alexander Gardens before march. Two Military Medal winners speaking to camera. Patients in hospital beds being lifted from motor truck in city street. Patients in hospital beds at side of city street. Troops march right to left along Swanston Street and across Collins Street corner. The first part of the march moving right to left past the Saluting Base at the Town Hall. VX9 General George Alan Vasey CB CBE DSO, leaves march and proceeds to position on dais.
