Description

Activities of Japanese personnel on Muschu Island prior to surrender ceremony held on Cape Wom Airstrip, Wewak, 13th September 1945. Also surrender ceremony held at 1000 hours on airstrip at Wewak, 13th September 1945 before a Division Ceremonial Parade of 6th Australian Division AIF. Approximately 3,000 troops paraded.
