The desert column (The Anzac story)
Description
Episode six from 'The Anzac story' television series. A brief history of the part played by Australian Light Horse in the campaigns in the Middle East during the 1914-1918 war. Devised and produced by Frank Hunter in co-operation with the Australian Broadcasting Commission and Supreme Sound Studios. Introduced on camera by James M McGrath the then director of the Australian War Memorial (1952-1966).
