Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. May 1970. Private Adrian Piper of Murwillumbah, NSW, an infantry signaller with D Company, 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR), on guard as other soldiers fill their water bottles in a nearby jungle stream. The Company was patrolling about ten miles north of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base at Nui Dat.
