Canberra, ACT. 1 March 1967. Major H. W. Pope, Deputy Assistant Adjutant General (DAAG), Director of Personal Staff (DPS), at Army Headquarters (AHQ), Canberra, looks at pictures of B Company, 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), featured in the first edition of Life Australia. The twelve page series of colour pictures were taken in South Vietnam during a recent search and destroy operation against the Viet Cong. Copies of the magazine, released this week, were sent to Vietnam and to units in Australia for distribution to soldiers.
