The Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Thomas (Tom) J. Daly (right), takes a look in a company command post near headquarters of the 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR), during Operation Toledo. With him is the company OC, Major Bruce McQualter (later died of wounds) of Newcastle, NSW, and Private Stanley English of Holsworthy, NSW (inside tent).
