Greece. 1915-04-20. Near a fleet of Australian ships off Lemnos Island was the Russian cruiser Askold. A few days later she made a spectacular bombardment of Kum Kale, at the entrance to the Dardanelles, Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey, where the French landed.
