Description
Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. 25 April 1915. Shells from Gaba Tepe bursting ahead of the British transports during the landing at Anzac Cove. The enemy appeared to be firing at extreme range and all the shells were bursting short. Bacchante moves in to silence the guns of Gaba Tepe which used to fire on every destroyer that landed troops.
