Description
Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. 6 May 1915. The 2nd Australian Infantry Brigade bivouaced in wheatfields near White Water Towers. As water was struck after digging 18 inches it was decided to raise bank shelters. The hill Achi Baba is seen in the distance. The French were fighting beyond the wood on the skyline at this time.
