At Sea, Turkey. May 1915. HMS Albion went ashore off Gaba Tepe, Gallipoli Peninsula. While in that plight, the Turkish batteries opened fire on her and she replied with every gun. She was eventually gotten off by the Canopus which towed her for three hours to a place of safety.
