Description
Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. October 1915. Simultaneously with the attack on Quinn's Post, Light Horse left Pope's Hill and charged the Turkish trenches at Dead Man's Ridge. The view of the gully at the back of Dead Man's Ridge was taken in October 1915, through the loophole of a sniper who covered the gully from Quinn's.
