A farmhouse which formed part of the Suvla Line. Mr Lawrence, Reuters corespondent, is shown on the left. Shortly after this photograph was taken in October, Mr Lawrence and Mr Bean, the Australian official correspondent, were placed under arrest and kept under a guard of four bayonets.
