Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. November 1915. This view was taken from the point where Colonel MacLaurin was killed. He was shot by a sniper near the precipitous gully opposite. The remains of the old Headquarters of the 5th Battalion are shown in the foreground, and Baby 700 in the distance.
