View of Brighton Beach from Gaba Tepe looking north. The entrance to Legge Valley is in the centre. Chatham's Post in in the left centre and Chanuk Bair on the left skyline. An old barge is on the shore near Gaba Tepe which was used by a storming party on 1 May 1915. One of a series of photographs taken on the Gallipoli Peninsula under the direction of Captain C E W Bean of The Australian Historical Mission, during the months of February and March, 1919. This is the right hand image in a two part panorama. See G01789P for the comgined image.
