Studio portrait of 6537 Private (Pte) Harold Vincent Brightwell, 9th Battalion, of Deligbo, Qld. A carpenter prior to enlistment, Pte Brightwell embarked with the 21st Reinforcements from Brisbane on HMAT Boonah on 21st October 1916. He was killed in action on 25th April 1918 and is buried in the Meteren Military Cemetery, France.
