Studio portrait of 502 Private (Pte) Creighton Elliott, 22nd Battalion. A farmer from Marysville, Vic prior to enlistment, Pte Elliott embarked with B Company from Melbourne on 10 May 1915 on HMAT Ulysses. On 2 July 1916 he was killed in action aged 23, and is buried in the Ration Farm Military Cemetery, La Chapelle- D'Armentiers, France.
