Studio portrait of 788 Private (Pte) Arthur Rupert Conisbee, C Company, 29th Battalion, of St Kilda, Vic. Pte Conisbee enlisted on 17 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ascanius on 10 November 1915. He was killed in action on 23 August 1916 in France.
