ANZAC BEACH, GALLIPOLI. 1923-04-25. THE REVEREND E. WALKER, OF MELBOURNE, ADDRESSING THE CONGREGATION AT AN ANZAC DAY SERVICE ON THE BEACH AT ANZAC COVE. THE HORSE IN THE RIGHT BACKGROUND IS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL MOUNTS OF THE 6TH AUSTRALIAN LIGHT HORSE REGIMENT AND HAD LEFT AUSTRALIA IN 1914. THE HORSE WAS OWNED BY LIEUTENANT COLONEL C.E. HUGHES.
