Captain John Fitzmaurice Guy Luther, Medical Officer to the 15th Battalion, AIF, seated outside his dressing station. Captain Luther enlisted on 6 October 1914, landed at Gallipoli 25 April 1915 and was killed on 25 August 1915. In the background is Captain Luther's orderly who enlisted on 13 October 1914 and landed at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915.
