Lieutenant W. Dunstan with Colour Party and guard after being decorated with the Victoria Cross by the Governor General, Sir Ronald Munro Ferguson, at Parliament House steps. Lieutenant Dunstan was awarded the Victoria Cross for action as a corporal with the 7th AIF Battalion at Lone Pine, Gallipoli, on 9th August 1915.
