Description
A view North beach looking down from Mule Gully, with various dugouts and trenches in the foreground on Gallipoli in late 1915. The masts of the steamer Nile (ex-Milo) can be seen off North Beach, which was sunk in October 1915 to create a breakwater for Walker’s and William’s Piers.
