Description
An unidentified soldier (centre) with the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR) wearing a slouch hat, leans against a jeep ambulance as he talks with two soldiers probably from the 60th Indian Field Ambulance. The jeep has a canvas cover which is open at the sides and back, and has been converted so that stretchers can be stacked inside. Note the Indian soldier (right) wearing a pile cap, is having a drink from a pannikin.
