Korea. 2 January 1953. Private Peter Langeveldt of Ivanhoe, Vic, and Private K. (Ned) Kelly of Merrylands, NSW, put on their bullet proof vests before going out on A Company, the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment's (3RAR), fighting patrol. All members of the patrol will wear the vests for protection and they will also help keep them warm on a bitter Korean winter night.
