When supply roads leading to Royal Australian Regiment positions in the line in Korea became flooded, US Marine amphibious vehicles took the place of land bound trucks. Here an amphibious load carrier (DUKW), carrying a load of food, ammunition and dry clothing for the soldiers, arrives on dry land after traversing the flood waters.
