Korea. December 1953. Private Andy Arnold, B Company, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), lays stretched out and enjoying a hot drink during a well earned break from digging the new defence positions. He has been in the Army since February 1951, and has already served five months in Korea. The positions are being constructed with much urgency as it is vital to have the line prepared before winter freezes the ground and makes digging impossible.
