Abstract
In this article the author give a brief biography of Drum Major William Darwin. He gives detail to Will Darwin's pre-war military service. As well as the epic trip down the Hume Highway in 1935 where he pushed a wheelbarrow containing a fellow bandsman on a trip to Sydney.
