Two vignettes of tragic heroism / Ken Wright.
Abstract
The Gallipoli sonata was written Sub Lieutenant Frederick Kelly while he was on Gallipoli. This piece of music had disappeared, only to re discovered in 2009. This was just one of two examples of tragic heroisms that took place in both the First World War and Second World War.
