His success as an author and leadership coach has seen him featured in a range of media outlets, including; the ABC?s Midday Report, Business Review Weekly, Qantas Radio, Sky News and Sunrise. As the founder of Leadership Without Rank, Rob has spoken at hundreds of corporate events and provided pro-bono services for not-for-profit agencies, including International Assistance Mission (Afgh anistan), UNICEF (Kenya) and Starlight Children?s Foundation (Australia). He has also taught his own system of defensive tactics to the bodyguard team of Nelson Mandela in South Africa and provided close personal protection to aid-workers in Iraq. He was awarded an ASM for his service in South East Asia with the Australian Defence Force and received a Dean?s Award for Academic Excellence in his Master of Arts (Terrorism, Safety and Security) from Charles Sturt University.
