Cairo, Egypt. 4 December 1943. After attending the Tripartite conference at Teheran, Persia, Allied service chiefs returned to the Middle East where they went into conference to discuss points arising from the Roosevelt-Stalin-Churchill talks. At the conference table is the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Charles Portal. To his right is General Sir Alan Brooke, Chief of the Imperial General Staff.
