Description
"The Digger Poets Of The 1st AIF" examines and evaluates the poetry written by serving personnel of the 1st AIF, 1914-1918. The work in part includes an anthology of "digger verse" collated by the author. The anthology has been chronologically and thematically arranged within the major war zones of Gallipoli, Palestine and the Western Front. In all 100 poets and 210 poems are included in the thesis.
