8 page manuscript entitled 'Fire Support Base Coral - A Gunner's Story'. The manuscript details the author's experiences as part of 102 Field battery in the battle for Fire Support Base Coral. The selection and establishment of the site for the Fire Support Base is detailed, including the unsuitable nature of the originally selected site. The first attack on FSB Coral is detailed form the author's perspective, including the actions of the individual guns of the battery. Recovery form the first attack, reinforcement of the position and improvement of the defences is detailed. The second attack on FSB coral is described in detail explaining the command and control difficulties for the battery resulting from radio and hardline communications failures, and then examining how these were overcome. A short summary of commemoration of the battle is included.
