Loose, 49 leaf manuscript titled: "The Major, the Minister and the Medal: the story of the Australian Commonwealth Coronation Contingent of New South Wales Senior Cadets in 1911 and the Coronation Medal" by Pax Arundel Lambert. The manuscript tells the story of the NSW cadets that took part in the coronation celebrations of King George V in 1911. The account has been based on the personal records kept by 19 Corporal Parker (Pax) Appleby Arundel Lambert (father of the author) who was a senior cadet at the time. The account provides a short history of the Cadet Corps, the work of Major George Watkin Wynne in raising and funding the contingent, the trip and ceremony, their meeting with Field Marshal Earl Roberts, and the granting of the Coronation Medal.
