RAN Majestic aircraft carrier and troopship HMAS Sydney (III), in Vietnamese waters, possibly anchored at Vung Tau, South Vietnam. 914 Vice Admiral Sir Richard Innes Peek (left), Chief of Naval Staff, inspects the ship accompanied by the captain. During the Vietnam War, HMAS Sydney visited Vietnam on 24 occasions, transporting troops and equipment, and earning herself the name 'Vung Tau Ferry'.
