Strauss, NT. 20 January 1943. Members of No. 76 (Kittyhawk) Squadron RAAF, going out to bat in a cricket match: Flight Lieutenant R. Kerville (left) and 400213 Squadron Leader (Sqn Ldr) K. W. (Bluey) Truscott DFC. Sqn Ldr Truscott, Commanding Officer of the Squadron, is a well known Melbourne District Cricketer and also a noted member of the Melbourne (Victorian Football League) team - note his Melbourne Cricket Club cap.
