PART OF A RECRUITING MARCH WHICH BEGAN AT ALBURY. THESE ARE RED CROSS VOLUNTEERS. ONE OF THE LADIES AT THE FRONT, MRS J. MITCHELL, ANNOUNCED HER INTENTION OF MARCHING WITH THE RED CROSS BUT WOULD NOT WEAR THE WHITE UNIFORM, SO A "FOUR" OF BLACK LADIES HAD TO BE FORMED. THE OTHERS ARE ANNA BEVAN, MRS BUTCHER AND MRS LONG.
