Hill 614 area, Korea, 1951-02. Kneeling behind the wall of their dugout, two unidentified members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), aim their weapons towards enemy positions. The soldier wearing the pile cap (left) is armed with .303 Bren light machine gun and his colleague, with his hood on his head, has a .303 rifle. An upturned ammunition case and a litter of cartridges lie on the ground next to the man in front. Both soldiers are wearing windproof jackets. (Donor I. Robertson)
