Description

An airport scene at Saigon, possibly the main international airfield Tan Son Nhut, which also based a subtantial military presence of aircraft from many allied services. A collection of rotary winged aircraft can be see in the distance. They include a Hiller helicopter (left), several Bell Iroquois (centre) and possibly the hulk of a Boeing Vertol CH-47 Chinook (right). A red and white checked water tower rises above this array of assorted helicopter aircraft.
