Two M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) parked in the centre of a street in the town of Long Dien. The vehicle on the left has the call sign three one alpha (31A) and is possibly named 'Elaine'. Both vehicles have sheets of perforated steel planking fitted to their sides and both are armed with shield mounted .50 calibre M2 HB Browning heavy machine guns. The soldiers in the centre are handling a 20 Pounder Centurion tank round. The vehicle (left) is carrying infantry who are wearing helmets.
