Studio portrait of TX4275 Driver (Dvr) Ernest Cecil Craske, 2/4th Australian Casualty Clearing Station, of Hobart, Tas. Dvr Craske enlisted on 20 January 1941, and served in Malaya, becaming a prisoner of war (POW) of the Japanese after the invasion of Singapore in February 1942. He was held in POW camps in Singapore and Thailand until his release at the end of the war. He was discharged on 19 December 1945.
