Informal outdoor portrait of four Australian soldiers in camp at Nui Dat, Vietnam. One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. Identified from left to right are: 2784085 Sig Colin James Wiley; 39023 Private (Pte) Barrie James Edwards; 5714255 Sig Alan Munro Booker; Sig Weller. The four men shared a tent at Nui Dat. All of the men except Pte Edwards, a regular soldier, are undertaking National Service. Weller remembers: "I’m hanging in. There have been no great worries or traumas so far and the job’s panning out quite well. We’ve done some work around the tent and if I can stay out of trouble, I’m home free. I’m starting to show the signs however, of an addiction to Coca Cola."
