Collection relating to the Second World War service of NX109133 Private Kenneth Glover, 129 Australian General Hospital, Australia, 1945-1946.
The collection contains a letter written to the Memorial's Art Section by Mr Ken Glover about the Nora Heysen painting titled 'Sponging a Malaria Patient' (ART24373) the patient being Pte Glover. The letter discusses this painting and his role in the malarial trials at the Army's Malarial Research Unit at Jungara Camp near Redlynch (Cairns, Qld) in the period from June 1945 to February 1946.
