Diaries of Driver C. F. Mason of the 1st Australian Divisional Ammunition Column. Describes entertainment,donkeys and duties with 1st D.A.C., conditions, YMCA, shelling, brief transferral to 4th Battery due to experience as a gunner, and being wounded. Mentions movements around many locations in Northwestern France, including Bapaume, Haplincourt, Saint Omer, the Somme, The Hindenburg Line, and Villers Bretonneux. Also mentions advancing after the Germans during the August Offensive, and the end of the war.
