Wallet 1 of 1 - Collection consists of two handwritten letters.

One handwritten letter from Sister Grant to her friend 'Rose', 23 August 1917. The letter describes describing shelling attacks and subsequent evacuation of 3rd Australian Casualty Clearing Station near Ypres in Belgium as well as a chance meeting with her brother, Lieutenant Allan Grant, 40th Battalion, in France.

One handwritten letter from Sergeant Normal Carey to Sister Grant, 20 October 1917. This letter describes the death Sister Grace's brother, Lieutenant Allan Grant, 40th Battalion, killed at Passchendaele, 12 October 1917.
